Michael Jordan: The Best To Ever Play The Game
mj fluu game.jpg                                                                              Michael Jordan always pushed himself. Through every situation, no matter what the circumstances he always gave 110% of his effort into every game, practice, and moment. This photo is a great representation of a moment where he did not give up and he pushed through. The background is blurred but Michael in the foreground is not. He is clear and the light shines off him and his teammates showing that he is the star. Every light is on him, he is in the spotlight and thats how everyone saw it. The cameraman who is also in the foreground is capturing this moment as Michael makes history putting up a 30+ point game while pushing through a sickness. In 1997, in game five of the Chicago Bulls versus the Utah Jazz Michael was experiencing flu-like symptoms and was eventually diagnosed with a stomach flu. He had a 103-degree fever, but still suited up for the game. This photo is portraying Michael’s teammate Scottie Pippen, needing to assist Michael off the court during a timeout because he is so drained from leaving it all out there on the court. Michael Jordan being the high level player he was, knew that his team heavily relied on him to produce, so he gave it literally everything he had in him while he was on the court and rested during time outs as it can be seen in this photo. Michael went on to produce a 38 point game that night, and won his fifth NBA Championship title two days later.

Michael never failed to impress. It could honestly be said that every time michael stepped on the court he put on a show. He would sometimes do things that no one had ever seen before. Was truly a sight to see, he sold out games every night. This is one reason why he is the best to ever play the game, he always gave a reason to come back to another event. This is one of the biggest moment in not only Michael’s life but NBA history. This night he did something so incredible that no one had ever seen before, and has been a historic moment for everyone since. On this night in 1988, during the slam dunk contest in Chicago Stadium, Michael surprised everyone with his dunk. He took off from the free throw line, 15 feet away, and dunked the basketball. This dunk allowed him to surpass Dominique Wilkins, winning the contest and defeating a player who beat him 3 years prior. The outline his body made during this dunk later became the symbol for his ‘Jordan’ brand and his career took off. To this day that symbol is now worth over a billion dollars. This shows how Michael was always showing the crowd something spectacular and this allowed him to seek the top of popularity charts. He had done some things in his career no one had seen before, things that most NBA players still can not do. If you look in the audience you can see every single person, with the exception of a couple camera men, are looking up at him, you can see all the faces watch him as he sores through the air which proves that he always showed people something they wanted to see because everyone is looking. The light shines off his sweaty skin, as if he is glowing like star he is. Michael is in the foreground and the center of attention like he always proved he should be.

mj layup thru 3 ppl.jpgMichael Jordan could walk the walk but he also had the courage to talk the talk too. Michael had an immense amount of talent but talent will only take you so far. You need to have work ethic and confidence. Some would debate that confidence is more than 50 percent of basketball. Michael Jordan never back down from anyone  or anything. He rose to every occasion and that was a key to his success. This photo shows Michael Jordan attempting an acrobatic layup through three defenders. Not many players have the confidence to attempt something like this or the “go ahead” from their coach to even be allowed to attempt something like this. But, Michael was so highly respected from teammates and coaches that he was able to be trusted with a shot like this. Throw that together with skill and confidence and that creates an elite player which he was. Once again the background with the audience is blurred and Michael is in the middle of three guys showing he is again the “center” of attention, a superstar. The defenders worried and cringed faces, show how Michael was too much too handle, and he was because of his stacked arsenal. Michael's face looks determined and warrior- like as he fights through three defenders to attempt a layup which he completes. This is all a result of his confidents and skill. He had confidence to back up his skill and that took him to levels most players dream to be on. Michael Jordan is the best player to ever play the game of basketball and its moments like this that prove it.

Michael Jordan Trophy.jpg
The name Michael Jordan is too deep to comprehend. Just like any other human being he struggled in life. His father was murdered during his career in the NBA, he had sicknesses and failures. But, because of his great character traits mentioned above he surpassed everyone and everything above him holding him back. This photo was taken after Michael won his first NBA championship with the Chicago bulls. He did not stop after this, once he tasted success he wanted it more and more, so he worked harder to get it again. His incredible work habits led to his success and he ended his career with six championships. His continuous work led to his success, and his continuous success led to his rank. He is one of few NBA players with six championship rings and he has bragging rights for that. The flash of light seen beaming off his trophy shows the significance of what he worked toward. That glow in his reward that he hugs is his pride and it is what all NBA players want but not all get to claim. It can almost be seen as a metaphor, the trophy he holds is shining and glowing because that influenced him to want to win more, the trophy is his bright future. He is a legend because of his accomplishments which started with this.

In essence Michael Jordan is one of, if not the best player to ever step foot on a court. He always gave it 100% effort, fought through all moments, had the most confidence out of everyone and always impressed when he had the chance it is for these reasons why he had success and his success is why he is superior to all players.
